Under Streetlights | Reconciliation Week Film Screening

Based on true events, Under Streetlights tells the story of two young adults from very different backgrounds who are brought together by their common love of making music and the challenge they both face of having an alcoholic parent.

Madison Hull plays Ella, an 18-year-old Australian-American, who, with her cop father, is grieving her mother's death in a car accident. Co-star Jacob Harvey plays Izak, an Indigenous rapper whose fractured family is dealing with poverty, racism and alcoholism.

The film, set in Alice Springs, was directed by Australian filmmaker Danielle Loy (Bush Law 2009, Strangerland 2015).
